Chichen is an enigmatic archaeological site, full of history and culture.
The adventure begins with a visit to the cenote suytun, a large covered cenote with a light entrance in the middle where we also find stalagmites and stalactites. We dive into the cenote, of course always accompanied by protection with a vest, we relax and enjoy a great time until it is time for lunch.
After spending a good time in the cenote we headed to the restaurant located just a few minutes away from Suytun. At the restaurant we enjoyed a delicious buffet with typical food of the region, among so many delicious flavors and smells the dish that could not be missed was the delicious cochinita with its red onion and habanero chili that will leave you wanting more.
We continued our tour to the fantastic archaeological site of Chichen Itza, accompanied by an expert tour guide. Upon entering you are transported directly to a spectacular world, where we knew and learned a little of every corner of this fantastic place. Inside Chichen we visited the main pyramid known as the castle or pyramid of Kukulcan, the thousand columns and the observatory, we also found small stalls where they sell typical crafts of the region and representative of Chichen so you can buy and take a souvenir of the trip.
At the end of our tour of Chichen we headed to downtown Valladolid where we took a short tour of the park, enjoyed some marquesitas and visited the church of San Servacio.
The tour ended and we headed back to Cancun where the transportation dropped us off at the meeting point.
